Part of the Hertfordshire Year of Culture.

A group exhibition considering the ways in which our perceptions of place shape our thoughts, memories, and dreams.With varying visual languages, artists Fiona Curran, Yva Jung, Dave Nelson, Kirke Raava, Amanda Ralph and Imogen Welch all share an inherent interest in the process of moulding and re-shaping experiences of memory or place.

I am exhibiting my beach rubbish videos and the installation Thirty Pieces of Silver in this show.


For many years, my art practice has been concerned with the transformation of junk into art. An obsessive metamorphosis of real-world objects, often through the addition or substitution of materials - making the ordinary 'uncanny' and taking the familiar into new territory. I hope to make the viewer look at the world differently.
